Meltblown Non-woven
The meltblown process is a nonwoven manufacturing system involving direct conversion of a polymer into continuous filaments, integrated with the conversion of the filaments into a random laid nonwoven
This filtration non-woven fabric almost completely minimizes the access of pathogens and airborne pollutants. BFE rates are above 99%. The material possesses high mechanical strength and high air permeability, which facilitates breathing, for example, in the case of masks. This meltblown nonwoven fabric can be bonded with other materials, such as spunbond, to improve filtration efficiency.
